In The Land of Hope

August 15th, 2022

In The Land of Hope

This is a very special painting now on display at the Emergency Room at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia...It is my "Hope" to convey some comfort to responders and patients as they make major decisons about whatever is going on with their health. My art is my way of saying thank you to all those nurses and doctors that do so much to help us each day
as some of us have excellent health, however others may not and it's a way of saying thank you for all you do to save our lives each day. I am grateful and thankful that many years ago I survived a life threatening situation. I am a miracle to be here and still paint as my passion and hope this gives some solace to health issues that can be resolved and some cannot period. It's in the higher power that is not in our hands, but to try to get through the journey of our lives and somehow give back even when we cannot. Life is a journey and we are not alone. Others devote their lives to save ours. These are the people who are part of my family. I devote this painting to them and others who love art. This took a lot of planning and many friends helped me colloraborate this 8-1/2 foot painting and make it come to fruition. Thanks to all who helped me along the way.

Woodpeckers and Wildlife

I was able to use my woodpecker image I did for a friend who does ecological services to help keep our planet clean and help wildlife. He chose 10 other bird pictures of mine, this one being most prevalent for the moment. I was honored he chose my artwork to get some cards done for the Holdiays to give to his clients and employees. Mark Ray is his name if you ever need his services. He used my Falcon, My Blue Heron, My Shrimp boats of Darien, and others to help with his effort. If you have any inquiries or wish to have something simiiar please let me know at allpawsunique@gmail.com, or you can text/call 678-595-7951.

Notre Dame - Withstanding the test of time

Notre Dame - Withstanding the test of time

I did this oil painting in an impressionistic version to amplify the beauty of such an icon for 800 centuries it has stood until the fire. The original picture was taken by my
husband on one of our trips to Paris. I wanted to instill it's memory of being there for myself and my husband mostly, but also to keep it's memory alive always as a treasured
piece of architecture that all appreciate as a fine piece of history forever!

The Healing Power of Art

The Healing Power of Art

This painting is located on this site, however it is down near the end to find. However, it is quite an honor to have my painting on this site and I am grateful and know that without art I wouldn't be here. It is what I am made of and it has gotten me through many difficult times in my life. This pathway gives me hope and helps me contemplate what my next steps will be. Also, the quote I used under is goes as follows:
When you feel peaceful and successful, you want to extend and export that peace and love. The violence, hatred, prejudice, and judgment in our world suggests that we have miles to go to reach a world of inner and outer peace. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, |

I also want to comment on a special event coming up for a children's home here in Marietta, I will be donating a couple of prints beautifully framed for their event to raise money for children that have been put into homes, all proceeds go for the kids and their benefit. I will be posting more info as it gets closer to the event.

This picture of the Iris with water dew drops was a favorite to paint, and difficult as it was to paint with a bad cornea in my left eye, I feel one has to make lemonade and just keep going and adapt to the situation, so I feel it is an accomplishment in itself. I am proud that it is on display at the Gallery for 4 months! A fellow photographer gave me permission to paint it, as I usually get my husband to take the picture of things I want to paint from our trips. I also do commissions which I love to do as I feel usually some favorite place or landscape, seascape or other is a wonderful gift to give to those that cherish those places and I what I call "Art for Keeps". Painting is my passion and as long as I can I will continue to paint.

The Shrimp Boats in Darien, Georgia are amazing, just sitting there waiting to be taken out for the next fishing trip to gather what we love to eat.
Of course, I have to give credit to my husband for his wonderful photography which once I've been there wtih him, I take back to my studio
and re-create what I remember and put on canvas . This one was challenging, however, I was determined to try and re-capture the light from the
day we we standing on the bridge to take this picture. It was just right with the refections and the shadows and I was inspired to paint this picture.
I love boats and water, it is so calming and brings wonderful memories of our past sailing days when we first met.

I have three paintings on display and for sale for the Month of May. I enjoy painting and would love to do a commission
if you have a "special place" or memorable scene that you want painted., that would be a joy to do and have forever
as a keepsake and what I call "art for keeps". It is truly a joy to be able to replicate a place in oils on canvas and have
it hanging on you wall to see every day and to enjoy for years to come.

It is very new, so it may not show up right away. Any questions please e-mail me at allpawsunique@gmail.com. Thank you very much.
