About Kathy Knopp
My website is http://kathy-knopp.pixels.com. Even as a child I have been focused on always becoming an artist. Many painting lessions over the years at the Toledo Museum of Art, Ray Vogue School in Chicago, and continual learning thru out the years. Always working, and always keeping up with my art on the side, where I exhibited where ever my art could be supported and learned and sold my paintings part time of florals, landscapes, still lifes, seascapes, pets and barns and the like. Since the 80's I had been in the Lighting Design business for oer 23 years worked with designers, architects, builders, and designed lighting for homes. My main passion are my oil paintings. I want to post a comment about this photo. It is from the back of a church in New Mexico, called the St Francis of Assisi Church. While we were there, landscapers were working on the property and my husband shot this picture, (hence I painted it) and before we left, they had cut this birch tree down completely. I am so glad that I painted it as it was so beautiful in this spot at the time. Please enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed painting it. Kathy the artist
