Description
Landscape oil painting, art, covered bridge, streams, clouds, blue sky, fall trees,greens, blues, water, beams. Beautiful day in the fall. This was a commission from a CPA firm requesting this particular bridge as it has meaning and it's quite a beautiful landmark in Georgia. It was quite an undertaking as the rails and the lighting was during the day when the picture was taken. I painted it only during the day to keep the same colors and keep the balance as with plein air. It has many layers to achieve it's depth. It is painted on the sides as I like doing that with gallery wrap canvases.

Like the crisp perspective in this bridge painting and the colour palette. The blues and greens naturally compliment the browns and greys of the structure...infact it looks so natural and quaint with the trees in the breeze and the flowing water in the stream! Well presented with a sort of archival/documentary feel! Kudos!
